Biggrin We might see a 40 year old Steve Urkel on the big screen

Their is a plan to make a Family Matters Motion Picture soon i am not sure if its going to ever happen in this lifetime but it will be a breath of fresh air to see Urkel again after over a decade, i have no idea how they are going to convince Jaleel to be Steve Urkel unless they get another guy to play the nerd role.

there is no way this is going to happen - no one is planning this; they can't even get them to make a Funny-or-Die parody of it.

I believe that's what he's referencing- apparently Reginald VelJohnson recently made a Funny-or-Die parody video about a "Family Matters" movie. If anything, I could maybe see a TV-movie reunion for this show.... but I don't know that I'd really want to- I don't think there's much left to tell. It'd be nice to see Laura and Steve's wedding, but that wouldn't make much chronological sense since that would have happened shortly after the series ended- and it's been a number of years since then.

I can see a movie being made with a new group of people that look exacly like the winslows i have seen people in real life that look like the people in the show i seen a woman that looks like the myra monkhouse character a few years back lol, but they need a good script and good actors, i enjoyed the plot it could be a PG-13 fantasy action film.

It WOULD be good if we saw Steve Urkel married to Myra Monkhouse in the movie, but then the Winslows would probably be permanently separated from Steve. One could imagine the instant Myra gets out of prison for stalking Urkel, Laura and Steve's marriage falls apart and they get a divorce; Myra, of course, would never give up on Urkel, track him down for a visit, then Steve would just sweep her into his arms and propose to her on the spot!!

rpm, you sure hate seeing Steve and Laura together because you always trashing Laura. Why is that? I seriously doubt that Steve and Laura will get a divorce because they both love each other too much. I just don't think that Myra was good for him, but hey to each their own. I'm glad that Steve and Laura got married. I believe that Steve and Laura will STILL be married with children and all. I don't think that Laura will divorced Steve because she now appreciate Steve for who he is. They aren't going anywhere.

Nicole, what do you think would have happened if Laura married anyone other than Steve or Stefan? Do you think Steve would have moved on then? He seemed to be so obsessed with Laura he'd end up either old and alone or mistreating whomever was unlucky enough for Steve to marry out of fear of dying old and alone (which was probably the only reason he went steady with Myra in the first place - Steve honestly never thought he'd win Laura's heart, even though he eventually succeeded despite them both being basically adults when it happened).

Jaleel White wants to block Steve Urkel out of his mind remember folks if the guy ever ends up like Gary Coleman lonely and broke he will have no choice but to put up that stand up nerd act costume in a couple years when he is in his 40's or 50's lol paul reubens is desperate and playing Pee Wee Herman that guy is 60 years old lol, Nick Cannon is the only guy that can play Steve Urkel he looks just like him no offence lol.

Who wants to be a 40-year-old still dressing in suspenders and snork laughing? When you get older, you put away childish things. Jaleel White did the right thing blocking him out of his mind.

This will never happen.

Jaleel White, quite frankly, is probably sick of the Steve Urkel character. Jo Marie Payton was also sick of the bull**** with this show.

Paul Reubens is in his 60's still playing Pee Wee Herman thats proof that anything is possible, Mark Paul played the Zack character on Jimmy Fallen back in 2009 he was around 40 people for years said he would never play that role again in his lifetime lol.

How do any of you people know that Jaleel White will never in his life do a Steve Urkel skit, even if its just for sketch on a TV talk show he's only 37 he's young he might feel nostalgia and decide to just do a TV movie in the future the world need to find out what happened to Steve Urkel and Laura and the other folks on the show what about Waldo is he a tap dancer married to Maxine, jaleel might be tempted he made a nice paycheck entertaining folks on TV by playing Steve Urkel back in the 90's lol, their was not a soul on the entire planet who had never heard of the nerd back in those days in 1998 lol.

True. It will be nice for Jaleel to play Steve Urkel again. It will give us 70s and 80s babies some nostalgia. I'm just saying that Jaleel wants to walk away from Steve Urkel forever.
