Default Shows where a character narrated all or part of an episode or episodes

the only one that I can think of is Adam Cartwright narrated one scene in an early episode of BONANZA.

Mary Alice narrated all but 2 episodes (to my knowledge) of "Desperate Housewives". The other 2 were done by Rex and Edie.

In the first few seasons of "MacGyver", Richard Dean Anderson did narration in character as MacGyver for the episode. (Note- This was chiefly at the start of the episode and in setting the scene, of course.) [I believe this was for the first three seasons.]
Similarly, in the first few seasons of "Quantum Leap", Scott Bakula did narration in character as Dr. Sam Beckett for the episode. (Note- This was chiefly at the start of the episode and in setting the scene, of course.) [I know this was true for the first season, but I am not sure beyond that.]
"Early Edition" consistently had voiceover narration usually at both the start and end of the episodes. (Typically given by Fisher Stevens in character as Chuck Fishman- at least for the first two seasons. Since he was no longer on the series for the last two seasons [though he still did guest appearances at times], I believe Shanesia Davis did some in character as Marissa Clark.)

"The Wonder Years" had Daniel Stern giving narration in every episode, usually at the start and end of each episode at least- but also here and there throughout the episode, typically.

On "Saved By The Bell", Zack Morris would often give dramatic monologues to the audience, explaining the expositionary details for the viewers. Mark-Paul Gosselaar also did some narration in character as Zack as well.

On "Magnum, P.I.", Tom Selleck often did narration in character as Thomas Magnum, typically at the start of the episode at least, but also sometimes throughout the episode too.

On "Star Trek: The Next Generation", there are numerous scenes where voiceover narration is heard in the form of a crew member recording a ship's log entry or a private log entry. (i.e. Captain Picard recording the stardate and ship's log entry for their current mission and heading, Commander Riker giving a first officer's log report for times when he had to be the Acting Captain in Captain Picard's absence, and sometimes we also hear a personal log for crewmembers like Data, Geordi LaForge, Deanna Troi, Dr. Beverly Crusher, Worf, etc. I think even Wesley Crusher has had a personal log entry at some point.)

Narrated hmmm I guess

Alexandra Molotke, who played governess Victoria Winters, did voice-over narrations before the opening scene of each early Dark Shadows episodes.

Also
Shiri Appleby did some voice-over narrations on Roswell (taken from her journal entries) as well as Martin Milner who did a cold narration in one episode of the cop drama Adam-12 as well as a few eps on his other show Route-66.

Dragnet - Jack Webb as Sgt. Joe Friday narrated every episode of the original 1950s and 1960s series.

On the Goldbergs, the youngest kid, narrates the episodes.

At the end and beginning of Grey's Anatomy , Meredith Grey narrates saying some philosophical bit. Other characters have done it as well

IINM, several of the Treks (original-recipe, TAS, TNG, and Voyager) were like this (I'm not sure about DS9 or Enterprise).

On "Scrubs", J.D. (Zach Braff) narrated the majority of the episodes he was in. When he left in 'season 9' (a revamped season), the new girl that season, I think her name was Lucy narrated the episodes.

Little House on the Prairie: Laura Ingalls did some narration usually at the beginning and at the end. The Waltons: John Boy as an adult narrated.(voiced by Earl Hamner). Hopalong Cassidy: Hoppy narrated his adventures.

It was sadly short-lived.
