Ray Wise To Recur on "Y&R"
Exclusive: Ray Wise Joins "The Young and the Restless" as a Blast From Nikki's Past
by Matt Webb Mitovich 12/10/13 "The Young and the Restless‘" Nikki will get a blast from a dark time in her past when "Twin Peaks" patriarch Ray Wise joins the CBS daytime drama in the recurring role of former cult leader Ian Ward. As established in recent months on the serial, Nikki (played by Melody Thomas Scott) met Ward during her time at the New World Commune some 30 years ago, and wound up pregnant. The child she gave birth to back then, yet never saw, she recently discovered is war vet Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton). Wise begins shooting this Friday the 13th, with an eye on a Jan. 23 debut.
