I've heard Bob Denver speak of a spin off where he marries Mary Ann and Ginger marries the Professor. I believe it was supposed to end up that their children end up stranded on a deserted island.

Does anyone remember hearing anything about that?

I think it was an idea that Sherwood Schwartz had for the TV movies but it never came to fruition.
