Fox Cuts "Dads" Season Order From 22 to 19 Eps.
Fox Cuts "Dads" Season Order
Dec 6, 2013 by Kate Stanhope Fox has cut "Dads" season order by three episodes. Instead of a regular 22-episode season, only 19 episodes of the Seth MacFarlane-produced comedy will now be produced for Season 1. Although Fox ordered nine more episodes of the critically panned freshman series in October, "Dads" is one of two shows that will be going on an extended hiatus later this season. In February, "Glee" is moving from Thursdays to Tuesdays and will then be followed by "New Girl" at 9/8c and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" at 9:30/8:30c, subsequently leaving "Dads" as well as "The Mindy Project" off the schedule. It is unknown yet when "Dads" will return after Feb. 11. The most recent new episode of the show grabbed 3.3 million viewers and a 1.4 demo rating. http://www.tvguide.com/News/Fox-Cuts...r-1074380.aspx |

Considering the show's ratings, I have no clue why they would have ordered a full season in the first place, only two months later, to cut the episodes. Who is running these networks anyway?
