I just noticed that one day and watched for it. There are always things to discuss about the show.

Did you notice that Wally almost hits a pedestrian when he comes back from test driving that used car that he buys. As he pulls into the used car lot he comes really close to that woman.

Eek Must Be That Push-Button TorqueFlite!

One thing that always fascinated me about the S6 opening (when they come out of the house and get into Ward's '62 Plymouth Fury hardtop sedan) is how quickly Ward slams on the brakes as the announcer says "...and Jerry Mathers...as The Beaver." You can see the car dipping and all four passengers pitching in their seats as the car comes to a stop.

(Also watch closely and you'll notice the rear window is missing. The contour of the '62 Plymouth roofline was such that the rear window tapered to a point at the center of the car, and of course the film lights would have glared off the glass.)

Hugh Beaumont was a stickler for hitting his mark :-)

Thanks for the post. I will look for those points

Speaking of going too fast...did you all notice in Paper Route at the end. Beaver and Wally have their new bike and want Ward to have the first ride. Ward goes flying out of the garage and into the street without looking as the show ends...Far cry from when Ward built the one lunger and told the boys all about safety.
