who remember this short-lived sitcom from Norman Lear that was in first-run syndication in 1980 or 81?
The title was an acronym for The Life And Times of Eddie Roberts. |

I remember it. It was sort of a sitcom/soap hybrid set at a college with Renny Temple as Eddie.
I don't recall Lear having anything to do with it though. |

Norman Lear sure had a lot of short-lived sitcoms. I never heard of this one!
The opening credits of this show are on Youtube. |

The structural format resembles Mary Hartman2, but I don't believe Norman Lear was in any way associated with this show. It was more just a serialized sitcom than a parody of anything.
