April 7, 1941 - November 28, 2013
On Thursday, November 28, 2013 in Toronto, Ontario. Son of the late Eunice and the late Eli Westelman. Loving and adored father and father-in-law of Matthew and Danna, and Adam. Loving "Zaizie" to Zoe. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Rhona Spanier and John Macdonald, Phil and Cookie, Joel and Janet, and the late Karen (Grant Reynolds). Unlike so many of us, Danny followed his dreams; The Catskills, New York, nightclubs around the world, Los Angeles, movies and television. He made them laugh and wowed them with his natural gifts. A very funny and talented man, he will be terribly missed by his family, Beverly, nieces, nephews and many friends and colleagues. Burial will take place in Los Angeles. Shiva from Dec. 4 to 8, 1330 Raimbault, St. Laurent, 2:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Charles, this would not happen to be the same Danny Wells who played Luigi (opposite Captain Lou Albano's Mario) on 1989's daily Syndicated kids' series The Super Mario Bros. Super Show, is it?

I've made several posts and not just obits. Just because I don't post as often as some people here it doesn't mean I'm not a fan and that includes shows other than The Jeffersons.

Danny Wells has also appeared on other hit TV Shows like Sanford & Son, "CHiPs" and Punky Brewster

and now, he and Captain Lou Albano are now doin' the Mario in the Great Big Sky and he's also doin' the George Jefferson Shuffle @ the Pearly Gates w/Sherman
