Default Minor Success

I have long ago, run out of new things to write about this series. I would say that in the minds of the average person, this show is out of site, out of mind. It has been years since it has been in syndication on any of the networks that I get. It has been several years since the fifth season was released on DVD. I have not heard anything recently about the final two seasons getting released. I am guessing that this all adds up to why it has been months since I have posted any threads that generated any replies. The same holds true for threads that I have posted on the pages of "Gimme a Break!" and "Caroline in the City". In all of the above, it has been as if I have been talking to myself! However, earlier this evening, I was looking over the "Gimme a Break!" page and a thread that I had posted once upon a time was at the very bottom. Just for fun, I brought it to the top. Believe it or not, someone actually replied! This reply came in while I was bringing yet another thread to the top of the page. The one that is at the very top is called "A Different Kind of Protest". Right under is is the one that has a reply and it is called "Two Blue Skirts". I would be very interested in what anyone here thinks of either of these threads!

You probably shouldn't be posting about Gimme A Break on this page. The reason I say this is because not everyone who watches Mad About You watches Gimme A Break and vice versa. Actually, your post has more to do with Gimme A Break and very little to do with Mad About You.

I do not think that someone needs to be familiar with "Gimme a Break!" to understand the content of this thread. The point that I was trying to make had to do with how stagnant all of the pages that I frequent are and how fruitless most of my efforts are in stimulating new conversation. The reply that I got from you on the "Gimme a Break!" page was the exception that proves the rule. Now that you have responded to this thread, we have another exception to the rule. In between the time that I posted this and the present moment, I went over to the "Caroline in the City" page to tell my buddies there about my minor success in stimulating some conversation. That thread is called "A Far Lady's Lap". You would have to read the thread itself to understand what the title has to do with the price of tea in China! Now if that thread gets any replies from you or anyone else, that we really show me that things are starting to liven up again!

Sure they do because you are inquiring about your Gimme A Break threads on Two Blue Skirts and A Different Kind of Protest which is all about Samantha's Protest......Gimme A Break discussion, not Mad About You discussion. Instead of bringing up topics on Mad About You, you are focusing on topics that have to do with Gimme A Break.

I am, sort of, able to make sense of what you are trying to say. However, the fact still remains that the main part of my thread has to do with site traffic. I was trying to make the point that very few of the threads that I start on any page get replies. This is including threads on "Gimme a Break!" and including threads on "Mad About You". I think that most people would be able to understand that point regardless of whether they are familiar with either show.

OK, it's just that in your first post, you were asking people their views on Two Blue Skirts and A Different Kind Of Protest. You weren't asking about a specific Mad About You topic. Perhaps you could focus on a specific Mad About You episode like you do with Samantha's Protest from Gimme A Break.

I am posting this just to correct a spelling error that I made in my first reply to this thread. I attempted to tell my buddies here about a thread that I started on the "Caroline in the City" page called "A 'Fat' Lady's Lap". However, I ended up writing "A 'Far' Lady's Lap"! I am now posting this just to apologize for my typo!
