I watched the special Far From Finished last night, and I did enjoy it, but somehow when he does standup comedy I don't really laugh like the audience does. I do think he has a great sense of humor most often, but I don't smile or laugh to the extent I do when I see him on the Cosby Show.
I had the same problem when I watched Bill Cosby - Himself. He used some of his lines in the pilot episode for the Cosby Show though. Am I alone in this? Probably...I don't get the same reaction when he does standup gigs, versus when he's on a sitcom, I feel he's funnier on the latter types of shows. |

The level of humor in his standup and his sitcoms is about the same for me.
I watched Far From Finished and I don't understand why it had a TV14 rating.
