Default It's funny how the put Belle's pic on the cover of season 4 and not Flo

Does anyone find it ODD how the bill Belle as one of the MAIN characters of season 4 on the DVD instead of Flo> When Belle is only in like the last 4 episodes.

Season 4, to me is defintily still a "Flo season".

I wonder if Jolene will be billed as the main character on Season 5, even though she is only in like the last 2 or 3 episodes of it?

Yes, as soon as I saw the cover art I was shocked that Belle appeared on it. I was certain being Flo's last season they would have featured her.

I predict S5 will also feature Belle as there were two different photo sessions for her time on the show. The attached photo or an alternate take will likely be used for S5 I'm guessing.

I don't know what they will do for Seasons 6-9 as I have never seen any color cast pics from the Jolene years. I own some 8x10 publicity pics from that era but they are all separate portraits of Alice, Vera and Jolene. I have never seen any color pics of them all together or with Mel. The studio may have some somewhere, but they are unpublished.

Maybe they were thinking that since Flo was being released almost at the same time as Alice Season 4, they didn't want her on both covers.

Belle was in the last 6 episodes. But I agree, Flo should have been on the cover.

They have 4 seasons with Jolene. I'm sure Belle will be on the season 5 cover.

I know I've seen cast photos with Jolene included, but it doesn't seem like they were in color.

I THINK though Belle was only in the last 4 episodes, weren't 2 of the episodes carry-overs from season 2, and they just aired them as part os season 4? I could be wrong but I think that's what it says on my copy. I know on my copy, after Belle has about 4 episodes, the following 2 are from season 2 and they feature Flo again.

Anyway, I think Belle makes a nice "buffer" from the transition from Flo to Jolene. Flo and Jolene are totally different, but I think there are traits of both Flo and Jolene in Belle. Belle is blonde and a little sweeter like Jolene, but man-crazy and sorta spunky like Flo.

Did Mel ever call Belle Blondie I wonder like he did Jolene?

Belle is on the last 6 episodes before the 2 that were shot during season 2. All 8 episodes are on disc 3 of Season 4.
