I can't remember her name. She vanished leaving her children behind and was a single mother. Her family thought it was foul play with others thought she may have killed herself or run away on her own because of the depression problems she had faced in not being able to find a man in her life. Later it was discovered she staged her own disappearance and was found in a hotel later having taken her own life.

Yeah Gail Delano. She was from Maine and after the UM segment aired I believe they identified her as a person that was found dead by suicide in a mobile Alabama hotel room. Not sure if there was ever any doubt about her disappearance being on her own accord...

Oh yes there was. Investigators spent quite a bit of time trying to determine if she had been kidnapped, etc and interviewing many people about it.
