It is no secret that, even before the "Desilu Playhouse" days, the Ricardo kitchen's appliances were furnished by Westinghouse.
However, one 1956 episode has an interesting blooper. A GAS range appears in the Ricardo kitchen, with the brand name "R O P E R" clearly prominent in several scenes. At that time, Westinghouse did not make gas ranges. Was this a commercial endorsement or a change made to accomodate a plot device?

The TV sets in 'The Courtroom' episode were Westinghouse too, although the prop department put some odd knobs on the one given to the Mertzes. Whether that was intended to make it less recognizable as a Westinghouse or not I'm not sure.

Take a look at the refrigerator. Through all the New York episodes, the refrigerator, at least, was a Westinghouse (you can make out the 'WESTINGHOUSE" on the door, above or alongside the door handle). The stove and coffeemaker, based on my observations from the show and comparisons from contemporary magazine advertising, are also Westinghouse products.
