Question Anyone live or from Tennessee? Question About The Weather There

I'm wondering for those who have lived or live in TN just how cold it gets this time of year? Is Memphis usually very cold this time of year?

Right now where my brother and family are it's 27 degrees. That's very, very cold, imo. I'll be there in a couple weeks. Just how cold does it get? I get cold easily.

I'm originally from the Northwest, but it's been over two decades since I was last there.

I live in middle TN, and I can tell you it's FREEZING! There is no Fall ~or SPring~ anymore. It's right from 90 degrees to -12

-12? Wow, I hope it's not that cold when I go for Thanksgiving.

When I lived in Seattle as a child I don't remember if it ever was in the negative digits for temperature.

Thanks for the replies. I don't know if those areas are close to Memphis or not.

I live twenty minutes from nashville. We normally have decent winters, not much snow at all. Average temp, beleive it or not, is low 50s for the highs during the day. We go thru spurts where it goes below average for two or three weeks, then it goes back to the average again. Sometimes its like a roller coaster, it gets really cold for three or four days, then warms up to the fiftys and low sixtys. Overall its pretty mild.
