Was Joey from Full House influenced by Jim Henson - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Most Guys with any self respect woulden't want to go on national Television to be on a kids show where he has to use a puppet, i dont care how much the dude is getting paid its humiliating, do you think Joey only agreed to use the MR Woodchuck puppet because Jim Henson who created The Muppet Show is his role model ???

Many guys with self-respect would go on a kids show with a puppet because it is a legitimate job that pays the bills. Hopefully, the main reason they would do it is because they genuinely love children and working with them. I would daresay Jim Henson was definitely a role model and influence for Joey Gladstone on "Full House". He had a Gonzo toy and imitated Kermit the Frog's voice at least once. I'm sure he was probably also a fan of other shows like Bozo the Clown (he has mentioned him on the show) and Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. (Which Uncle Jesse once mentioned on the show).
There's nothing humiliating about being on a TV show with a puppet when you can learn to loosen up and just have fun and not worry about what anyone thinks of you. Also, Joey had developed the character of Mr. Woodchuck before even having the TV show job- the Mr. Woodchuck puppet is his and so is the character- so it's not like the "Ranger Joe" show he did actually required him to do the puppet- he just added that himself. So I know he didn't have any problems with performing the puppet. Joey genuinely loves children and loves making people laugh- that much is abundantly obvious on the show.
