Online reports. The "Law & Order: SVU" actress' star was placed next to that of her mother, actress Jayne Mansfield, according to E!. Celebrities in attendance at the presentation included "Law & Order" creator Dick Wolf and actress Hilary Swank. "You are one of the icons of television and certainly, I think, the female icon for millions of women, not only here but all around the world," Wolf told Hargitay at the ceremony.
