Why diden't cliff and clair tell Vanessa she sucked at playing the clarinet - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In the season 1 episode Play It Again Vanessa i will never understand why cliff and clair were cowards and did not tell vanessa she was horrible at playing the clarinet i thought it would have made better since and tell her that she should wait till high school before she can play the clarinet, you kind of feel sorry for vanessa at the end scene where you can see the audience with funny looks on their faces, i wonder if vanessa was made fun of at school because she messed up at the school instrument play, do you think cliff and clair should have told vanessa the truth that she had no skills whatsoever at playing the clarinet ???

Whenever a child is trying to learn something new it is the role of their parent ot support and encourage them. They'll get enough criticism from friends, classmates, and pther people they don'tneed it from Mom and Dad. that's why I agree with Cliff and Clair's approach.

Yeah but they should have atleast tried to get someone to help her with some key notes before she went out in public infront of a crowd of audience lol
