Come on everybody wouldn't love to see what would happen if Archie Bunker meet the Drummands. Or even George Jefferson. That would be hilarous. Normar Leer is a genous.

I was just talking about this the other day with my family. Imagine seeing Arnold and Archie, and even Edith all in the same sitcom together. Can you imagine the exchanges between Archie and Arnold. That would have been the greatest sitcom of all time. I wish Norman Lear would have had Carroll O'connor make guest appearances on Diff'rent Strokes, or Gary Coleman on Archie Bunker's Place.

I've never seen " All In The Family" but I thought the crossovers DS did with Hello Larry were absaloutly brilliant!

Hey Jethro, if you get a chance be sure to check out All In The Family. I only discovered it a couple years ago and already it's become my all time favorite show. I think you'd like it.

Oh my stars, that would've been a great episode. It's too bad the episode was never made. I think somebody should write a fan fic about it.
To Jethro Simpson- All in the Family is a great show. mdntrider7 is right, I think you would like it too!

Is everyone aware of The Jeffersons crossover. Gary Coleman guest starred on The Jeffersons as George's nephew, Raymond in the episode called "Uncle George and Aunt Louise".

Thanks for the advice, I remembered earlier that I had an episode of All in The Family on video from TV Land's Merrython that I hadn't watched, so I watched it and thought it was really funny. It's a shame it isn't shown in this country.

By the time, Diff'rent Strokes first went on the air in 1978 Archie was already becoming soft. I would really wish there was a way to have Diff'rent Strokes 1978 to meet All in the Family 1972. Where you have the Archie in his prime. Of course that wouldn't make sense, we have to settle for the soft Archie.

I've seen that Jeffersons crossover, but is it accurate for us to call it a "crossover" considering that Gary Coleman played as a different character in it?

OK, thanks Kitt. Actually, I'm glad your answer was long, b/c to be honest I had to think about it for a moment (maybe I'm thinking about too many other things right now

In response to what tvje said about how Archie had already become soft when Diff'rent Strokes came on the air, your right. But the reason he was soft was because Mike left. If Arnold from Diff'rent Strokes had made appearances on AITF, or ABP, I think he would have made a perfect replacement for Mike. I think that would have made Norman Lear keep the edgie Archie around. But even if Archie's character stayed soft it still would have been great to see a crossover. But lets be honest about something. that Stephanie girl from AITF would have made the Grinch soft. So you really can't blame Archie for becoming a little less grumpy. I prefered the 1979 Archie myself.
