Default Arnold the Pig

I have been a fan of Green Acres for years and my favorite character on the show was Arnold the Pig. I thought he was the most natural animal actor I saw. He stole almost every scene he was in. Any other Arnold fans? There was one episode I remember when Arnold fell in love with a basset hound named Cynthia.

they actually had to use a number of pigs to play Arnold because pigs grow to a height of 3 feet or something.

Cool

Arnold was a great character. But he wasn't the only good animal actor on the show. Dog was a real scene stealer as well!

Arnold was quite the "ladies man"! Along with Cynthia the Basset Hound, he also had a girlfriend named Sue Ann that was a pig. Her and Arnold were dancing at the Ziffel home!

Here he is with Cynthia, couldn't find any pics of Sue Ann though!

Don't forget the episode when the ag agent-in-training Terry came to Hooterville. All the guys in town tried to take her to the local dance..and she picked Arnold as her date!

Arnold was awesome! My favorite scene with him is from the episode "An Old Fashioned Christmas" when he squirts the pine-scented liquid from the artificial tree and it scares him. Classic scene!

"Won't You Come Home, Arnold Ziffel?" The one where Arnold goes missing! A travesty!

The other day the ep was on where Lisa gets a fancy hairdresser to come to Hooterville, and the women all get fancy hairdos!

When Arnold first sees Doris's new "elegant" big hairdo , it was so funny!! He comes in the room , looks at her and stops DEAD in his tracks, than turns and runs away!!! LOL!!! It was classic how they fimed it! The way they freezed the camera as he was looking at her, like he really was in shock!!! LOL!!!!

Arnold Ziffel was great. He was hilarious and did steal a lot of the scenes he was in. I loved him.
