All 22 Original Episodes

Bob Newhart returns as Dick Loudon, the New Yorker who runs a small B&B in Vermont with his wife Joanna (Mary Fran). Things operate a little differently up in ski country, as exemplified by their disparate group of friends and neighbors including Larry (William Sanderson) and his brother Darryl (Tony Papenfuss) and his other brother Darryl (John Voldstad).

Season Two highlights include Dick fighting against the advances of a celebrity author, Joanna challenging the town's historical practice of the men and women eating separately during the town's potluck dinners, Stephanie (Julia Duffy) getting lost in a snowstorm, Kirk (Steven Kampmann) planning to sell the Minuteman Café and more!

Newhart marked the return to television for multiple Emmy nominated actor and legendary comedian Bob Newhart. If you like Bob, you’ll love Newhart.

Shout! Factory comes through again! I'm glad they seem to have mended the rift they had with FOX. Now I'm wondering even more....WTH is going on with The Bob Newhart Show Seasons 5 & 6?

Could Peter Scolari have joined in the middle of season 2, or did he join the cast in season 3?

I'm wondering if it's music rights that's holding up seasons 5 & 6 of TBNS or if FOX just isn't releasing them. Hopefully Shout! will also get the rights to TBNS AND maybe they'll be able to finish releasing Mister Ed and Rhoda...I think FOX owns Rhoda. What are the other shows this news may affect?

He appeared in two episodes of season 2. Still though, if they feel Scolari's picture could sell more copies than Steven Kampmann's, I'm all for it. Anything that will get all 8 seasons of this on DVD. I held out on buying season one because I was afraid there wouldn't be anymore. Looks like I'll be buying it now.

Maybe Shout! will also pick up the rights from FOX to finish releasing "The Bob Newhart Show" and "Dharma & Greg".

I'm somewhat still in shock over this news!

In the last few weeks we've gotten Alice season 4 & Flo....and we got announcements for Family Matters season 4, Newhart season 2, & L.A. Law season 1. 2014 could shape up to be a great year for releases!!

We've also got season 5 of Hazel to look forward to in 2014!

That must be why amazon removed the listing. I can't find it when I do a search.
