(Ralph is getting dressed. He goes to the window and sticks his head out.)

Ralph (yells): “NORTON, COME ON DOWN. I AM READY.”

Ed (from upstairs, yells): “I WILL BE RIGHT DOWN.”

(Ed comes down.)

Ralph: “Well Norton, are you ready to elect a new mayor of New York City?”

Ed: “Oh yes. I am ready to re-elect Mike Bloomberg.”

Ralph: “You stupe. That guy is not in the running this year. His time is up.”

Ed: “I thought those term limits rule was abolished since he was in power since 2002.”

Ralph: “Yeah and in a lot of people’s minds, he has overstayed his welcome.”

Ed: “Not to me. He has created good sewer jobs.”

(Ralph rolls his eyes.)

Ralph: “Oh yes. Crime in this city has been at its lowest in decades. I just hope his successor follows in his footsteps and if he doesn’t, oh than he is a BUM. I love Election Day. I can remember when I ran for Raccoon President against Brother Garrity.”

Ed: “Yeah and that Garrity had a lot of posters attacking you. He must have had 100 different posters and they all told the truth on how you were lazy and drank too many beers....”

Ralph (yells): “ALL RIGHT! ALL RIGHT!”

Ed: “Lets get out and vote.”

Ralph: “Let’s dot it Norton.”

(They both sing a song about voting.)

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: “Thank you. GOOD NIGHT!”

(Audience cheers.)
