who here remembers this short-lived show that was on about 1969 or 70? I think it was on CBS on Saturday night. I remember McLean Stevenson was a regular. I remember on the first episode they had his Christmas show. It was supposed to be funny, because most of his shows were canceled before Christmas. Who else remembers this?
Also a variety show he had in 1980 or 81. I remember it was also on CBS on Saturday night, I think right before WKRP IN CINNCINATTI. I remember one episode where Harvey Korman & Carol Burnett guest stared and on the promo the announcer said "The best comedy team in TV is back!" meaning Korman & Conway. |

I remember the variety show from 1980. That was funny. Tim Conway was always funny.

The later version debuted in March 1980 in a one-hour format and did surprisingly well leading off Saturday night, but was cut to a half hour in the fall. It followed WKRP for most of the 1980-81 season including the summer.
