Movie Reviews: Free Birds


New animated animal comedy Free Birds is receiving many lackluster reviews, especially for its constant use of ripping off gags from other movies.

The plot follows turkeys as they travel back in time to alter the first Thanksgiving menu.





Peter Hartlaub of the San Francisco Chronicle says:

"Movie audiences have never been sucker-punched by the fist of embedded marketing with the force that we see at the end of Free Birds."





Miriam Bale of the New York Times goes:

"The concept is inane and the execution is manic and unoriginal."





Elizabeth Weitzman of the New York Daily News gives Free Birds mild praise:

"It’s no masterpiece, but if you’re hoping for a family film that will keep everyone reasonably entertained, this will fly."





Sheri Linden of the Los Angeles Times is not impressed:

"With its flat punch lines, formulaic action and undercooked mélange of messages — touching on everything from factory farming to genocide — the film waddles awkwardly."

I wont to see it I read some reviews & the reviews said it wasn't that funny. instead I went saw enders game that was mistake I might try go see it this Friday maybe if my moms off work. ,
