Default JJ's Fiance, Part 2

I know we've discussed the ending a lot before since it was a hot mess, but I wanted to mention something that I don't think anyone has said.

Most people (myself included) think Diana slipped out the window to find drugs. Some people think she committed suicide. Anyway, I was reading through some of the old threads and people seem divided about her running away versus suicide based on the fact that JJ didn't see her outside the window. I just watched the episode and the truth is, JJ wouldn't have known exactly what happened to her because he didn't look out the window. He only looked at the window. The window was small and it was close to the ceiling. It was also dark outside. All he did was look up for a few seconds.

JJ was shocked to find Diana gone, which is why he sat down on the bed. That part really bothered me. If I had seen an open window, my instinct would have been to run to the door and look out. I'd want to see if she was laying on the ground or gone completely. It would have made more sense for him to at least look outside to give us a little closure. If he screamed, we'd know she was injured or dead. If he looked and then sat on the bed, we'd know that she had simply run off.

We never know where she went, if she ever found her way back home, if JJ ever heard from her again... We needed a part 3 or even just a casual mention of her in a later episode.

There was closure,

She ran off because she needed a fix and left JJ alone. We didn't need to know whatever happened to her because the viewers were never going to see her again.

Now what the viewers could have gotten a update on was Cousin Naomi since she was a member of the family. Diana was just some girl who JJ was involved with who turned out to a be junkie and ran off

I agree that she ran off to get a fix. I just don't get why JJ didn't even go to the door to look out. Even though she wasn't family, JJ was engaged to her and I would love to know if she at least made it home.

I loathe Naomi. I don't watch the episode with her because she just SUCKS.
