Nodsmiley FLO is to be released on official dvd!!! Ships 11/5/13!!!

That's right, you read it correctly!

Just as has been done for ALICE, Polly Holliday's spin-off will be getting her own dvd release! Dvd-r technically, but still...!

WARNER ARCHIVE COLLECTION is taking pre-orders at:

http://bit.ly/1aJhqGK

The Entire Series of FLO will be included...this is NOT a best of collection. The short First Season and the complete Second Season!

VERY exciting news for all fans of ALICE and FLO!

Just a little something for all of the folks who swore that FLO would NEVER hit dvd....KISS MY GRITS!!!

Wow! I've never really seen Flo but I have seen a bit of Alice at some point- and I've known about this spinoff series. Nice to see a lesser remembered series perhaps (at least by the general public) make it to DVD!
Kiss my grits! lol- classic catch phrase from Flo.

I liked FLO. Some of the episodes are VERY funny. It is true that the show could have been better, but when I watched a few eps recently, it was beter than I remembered. I can't wait for the release!

It's good that it is getting a commercial release but not as exciting as it would be if this was 2005 because the show is

on youtube
in the trading market

So it's not something that we can't easily see but it is good that it can a bonus to the set of Alice

It is good news I am just saying the news is not as BIG as it would have been if today was nov 1, 2005 versus nov 1, 2013

People were wondering why Diane Ladd as "Belle" was featured on the Season 4 Cover of Alice, instead of Flo. Now it makes sense, cause Polly Holliday is on the cover of Flo, The Complete Series.

No worries! Just good humor and enthusiasm on my part. In truth, I can be a trifle reactionary, because I get weary of people cutting down shows I enjoy. But hey! It's all good, cause it's coming in a format that we can enjoy or not, as the case may be.

When I was a kid, I remember being angry and sad that Flo wasn't going to be on ALICE anymore...even if we did watch her own show. I liked Belle, though. And just when I really had accepted her, she was gone. Always liked Jolene. But the thing about the art for ALICE Season Four: it still seems an odd choice. Flo was SO popular, she should have been on the cover...they could have still featured Belle in an insert photo, you know? So what, Season Five will have a picture of Jolene, even though she was only in a couple of episodes? But lets face it: the cover art could feature Tommy instead, or Carrie Sharples and the fans would still buy it!

Season 5 will be Belle on the cover, again, because Jolene will be on seasons 6-9.

And remember in 2005, the show was not available anywhere and seeing it was only a dream
