Carrie Fisher is heading to FXX's "Legit", TVLine reports. Fisher will guest-star in an upcoming episode of the comedy as Angela Greenberg, a top comedy development executive in Hollywood.

Her character is impressed after seeing a stand-up set by Jim (Jim Jeffries) and offers to help him professionally — but her motives aren't entirely professional.

Season 2 of "Legit" premieres in January.

Before she reprises her role as Princess Leia in Star Wars: Episode VII, Carrie Fisher is putting in some TV time. The actress will play Angela Greenberg, an aggressive comedy-development exec who sets up a meeting with Jim (Jim Jefferies) on FXX's "Legit" later this season.

"She's a very crass and confident showbiz woman who knows what she wants and doesn't care what anyone else thinks," says Fisher, 57, who compares the role to the tough agent she played in the 1991 film Soapdish.

"Jim's talent doesn't matter to her. She's interested in him sexually and gets what she wants."
