John Larroquette Joins Fox's "Almost Human" Cast

The future just got a bit more interesting: John Larroquette is joining the cast of Fox’s "Almost Human".

The actor best known for his long-running 1980s-90s role on comedy "Night Court "is coming on board the sci-fi action-drama in a dramatic recurring role. He’ll play Nigel, a “genius roboticist who is sympathetic, highly intelligent and a bit broken.”

The Emmy-winning Larroquette was most recently in NBC’s "Deception" and was also a regular on "Boston Legal".

"Almost Human" is set in Los Angeles in 2048 and stars Karl Urban and Michale Ealy as buddy cops, one of which is an android.

As previously announced, Fox moved the premiere date for the J.J. Abrams/J.H. Wyman-produced series to Sunday, Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. to take advantage of a football double-header lead-in.

Then on Monday, Nov. 18, "Almost Human" will have its regular time slot debut, with an episode concerning sexbots no less (or more properly: “IRCs — Intimate Robot Companions”).

SMH, I'm tired of this crap. After the disaster that was Deception, I'm just about through with John Larroquette.
I doubt this show will live up to Lost, Fringe or Alcatraz either. It's widely predicted that it will bomb.
