Default TNN vs. N@N

I watched Diff'rent Strokes on TNN today and it wasn't good. i saw that same edits but there are 2 things N@N didn't do that TNN did. One is that black bar still remains. The other one is that the commericals, there are so many and they are so long.

Well Nick and TNN are brother/sister networks now.

Although I complain a lot about Trouble, their presentation of the show is quite good.
Uncut episode with one 2-3 minuete break in-between.

I find the bars at the bottom of TNN annoying. But at least they show Diff'rent Strokes and they are going to show every episodes. Nick at Nites is known for skipping episodes. Besides I don't like the way Nick at Nite treated Strokes. They show re runs of Cheers 6 times a night. You think they could find room for Diff'rent Strokes.

TNN is by far much better. Actually it's the same amount of commercials as Nick at Nite had, it's just that Nick at Nite saved the most commercials for the time after the show went off so if the show came on at 8:00pm it would be done by 8:25, leaving 5 minutes of commercials.

The black bar is annoying but tolerable. I'm just glad it's on.

That's true. Today they had the ending credits, a little TNN thing (5 seconds), and then the next episode. It's like ABC Family.

Diff'rent Strokes just started airing Monday the 25th. So I'm still not sure which station does it justice yet.

So do they show the ending credits or did they take them out like on ABC Family because I hated that they did that to Growing Pains and Who's The Boss?

Nope, TNN does show the ending credits. No split screen like TV Land but there is the usual voice over.

Agreed. At least they show the episodes in full. There is nothing worse than an episode full of edits. I saw and episode o Lois and Clark on UK Gold a few weeks ago and the amount of hacking edits that were in the episode was appaling. It totally spoils the show when huge chunks are cut.

voiceovers are no better, which people would stop
saying it's better, it is not, and those people are very annoying and that beep is too.
I never did or will like some idiot talking on top of something.

What I'm asking is do we get to hear the ending themes at the end because like almost all themes at that time the shows had tight ending themes

I don't kno if this also happens on TNN's Diff'rent Strokes, but on Three's Company they do cut small parts out. Such as in the first episode, Chrissy is walking towards hte door to let someone in. The small time of her walking is cut in half on TNN, and other incidents similar like this occur.

I like DS on TNN because..

The show actually starts at the right time!! I got so sick of not being able to set the VCR for DS on N@N because it started at a weird time like 8:06 or 7:58. And the black bar doesnt really bother me at all.
