Default What's w/METV's showing of S4 now?

Have any of you noticed that METV is not showing season four in sequential order. They are skipping around and in fact today they showed a season 5 episode after airing only three or four season 4 episodes.

I wish they'd show s4 in order in its entirety. I purchased s3 and am loving it but am not planning to buy s4 and was hoping to see it on METV.

I'm just guessing here but next month Me-TV is going to start airing "Petticoat Junction" from the first season. I think they are trying to air some of the episodes from 5-7 until they start airing the first season next month.

How come you are not going to buy Season 4? I thought it was the last really good season before things started falling apart after the wedding in Season 5. I love the wedding episode itself (especially the hillbilly and psychadelic fantasy sequences) but the rest of Season 5 is kind of the beginning of the end for PJ.

Today I saw JUne Lockhart. Wasn't that the last season when the show fell apart that year and wasn't renewed.?

Kasey,

It is possible I will purchase season four. But I was wanting to watch it on metv first and then decide.

Agree, S4 was to me also the really last good season because Kate was in all of these shows.

The black and white shows start Monday. I guess this will be the first time any station has had the rights to all seven seasons.

Monday the first season of PJ starts. I will have either tune in or DVR it.
It will be a kick to see the first season. I haven't seen the show all that much so I really don't know about the plots or the actresses who played the sisters. I hope the quality of film is good.

I've seen all the shows on MeTV and watching them over agian doesn't intrest me. It was one of my favorite shows when I was growing up in the 60's but not seeing all the shows over and over.

I've always enjoyed the black and white episodes. I like the distinction between the personalities of the Bradley girls. Billie Jo was the sexy blonde bombshell. Bobbie Jo was the quiet, somewhat shy studious bookworm with the singing voice and Betty Jo was the tomboy who was still girlie at the same time. The color eps with the different actresses give a different feel to the series. Bobbie Jo played by Lori Saunders had more comic relief and was an occasional ditz and boy crazy. The first Bobbie Jo was not like that. Billie Jo played by Gunnilla Hutton was a bit watered down IMO. She was fine in the role but the 1st actress gave more distinction to the role. Meredith McRae played Billie Jo in a different way that seem more sweet. Still attractive but was quite different from the 1st one. I discovered the B and W eps from Columbia House back in the late 90's and the first ep from TV Land in 1996. Until 1999, I didn't know that TV Land wasn't airing the B and W eps. I will buy the eps on DVD as well.
