Bill Mazer Passes Away
Bill Mazer,a pioneer in sports talk radio who had a shot stint as a game show host, passed away October 23 at the age of 92.
While hosting a sports talk show on WNBC Radio in New York, he substituted for Hugh Downs for a week on Concentration in 1966 and hosted the NBC game show Reach for the Stars. The show lasted from January to March 1967. If anyone remembers Mazer as a game show host, please post. May he rest in peace. |

 I remember that he used to host Sports X-tra on WNEW/WNYW-TV Channel 5 in New York City awhile back. - Chris |
