Default MeTV and Antenna TV

do you consider them to be as good as; or better than NICK AT NITE and TV LAND were before they "jumped the shark" or "boned the fish" or whatever you want to call it?

Well I can't comment on Me -TV as I don't get it. But taking into consideration that Antenna is a free channel, the timing, quality and length of its marathons, and it's wide selection of programs, I think it is LEAPS AND BOUNDS ahead of Nick At Night and TV Land. Antenna is one of the best, if not the best, channel to come on TV.

I agree 100%!!! Also I think ME-TV is; in fact they're better because they edit their shows a little as possible, don't show many commercials and they don't talk over the closing credits-which is something ABC, CBS, NBC & PBS have NEVER done.

Now if only they'd start showing old commercials-including "cast commercials"

With both channels, the variety and program selection are outstanding. I also like how they emphasize the older shows, even though they may add a few 80s shows to their lineup now and then. Also, if one of your favourites gets temporarily removed or has their schedule cut back, you can bet that they will re-surface again somewhere at some point, (even on another channel) so there really is no need to panic. The other basic thing to remember when you're looking for a specific show is this: If Antenna TV doesn't show it, Me-TV will! (and vice-versa). That's always good to know even if sometimes you tend to forget it. Bottom line: You people are so damn lucky you don't even realize it, so what's the problem??

All in the Family
Sanford and Son
Maude

They been on there all of 2012 and 2013

yea that's the only thing I don't like about ANTENNA TV, they show the Norman Lear shows-especially AITF-way too much.

The key reason I LOVE Antenna is the quality of its programming given that it's a free channel (at least here in NYC.) I have over 200 DVDs I burned of many wonderful old shows(Bachelor Father, Here Come The Brides, Burns and Allen, The Partridge Family, Leave ItTo Beaver, Father Knows Best, The Monkees, Barney Miller.). And I've probably forgotten a few. Plus some great old movies. I would have easily had to spend several hundred dollars to get these shows - but all for just the cost of blank DVDs which I got on sale for $30. Plus their fantastic marathons (none of the sorry-a$$ed 3-4 hour ones but 20-25 hour ones - like when, for example, Davey Jones died and then Antenna did a 29 hour marathon showing the ENTIRE Monkees series. They are EVERYTHING a dream a TV channel should be. Pure genius.

Antenna TV tends to go to a commercial while someone is still talking. Not sure where they got their edits from

To me, Antenna TV is better than Me-TV. Antenna does go to commercial while someone is talking. What a pet peeve!! My favorite shows on there now are All in the Family, Diff'rent Strokes and Maude. I hope Three's Company comes back in the Spring, at 11:00pm.

Nick at Nite in the mid-'90s-early 00's is still one of my favorite 'networks' of all time. That era of Nick at Nite is better than Antenna and Me-TV currently. And better than TV Land ever was. Since Nick jumped the shark, Antenna TV has been one of the best.

I don't really watch any of the channels, but here is my rank based on their lineups :

1. Antenna TV: All in the Family, Maude, Good Times, Diff'rent Strokes.

2. TV Land: Roseanne, sometimes The Cosby Show.

3. Me-TV: The Honeymooners, Batman, Star Trek, The Brady Bunch, The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

4. Nick at Nite: Friends, Full House.

All in the Family airs two episodes a night. It doesn't dominate the schedule. I don't understand the problem.

HUH? No they don't, they show 4 episodes on Wednesday night. Maybe your local affiliate only shows 2.

Sorry, I should have clarified that I went by the Fall schedules. Antenna TV's official lineup begins in early November. All in the Family will only air from 10-11pm.
