Thumbs down Movie Reviews: "Escape Plan"

Movie Reviews: Escape Plan

Critics have been breaking out from cinemas in order to avoid spending any more time than they possibly have to with the wooden antics of Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in Escape Plan.

Empire Online's Helen O'Hara writes:

"Schwarzenegger's having a ball as Stallone goes through the motions."

Scott Bowles of USA Today also reflected on the difference in Stallone and Arnie's performances:

"Schwarzenegger seems to be the only one here who correctly takes the film as a lark."

Michael O'Sullivan of the Washington Post warns his readers:

"Don't get your hopes up."

The New York Times critic, Neil Genzlinger, says:

"Escape Plan does what it sets out to do."

What if Bruce Willis and Jason Statham team up instead?

If I relied on critics I would have been missing out on some of my favorite movies.

You do know this thread is for Escape Plan, and not The Expendables, right?

I saw Escape Plan and i didn't like it. Don't waste your money ya'll. Wait for it to come to video. Schwarzenegger's The Last Stand and Stallone's Bullet To The Head that they did before this are better. Stallone's next movie with Robert Deniro called Grudge Match comes out in December and it looks terrible also. I think Stallone lately has been doing any kind of movies just to get some money LOL. He might be broke LOL.

Yeah hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I saw Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot LOL. Estelle Getty was in it as his mom and she was so funny on The Golden Girls tv show. RIP to her. I'm glad he stopped doing Rambo and Rocky movies LOL. The last Rambo was good and so was the last Rocky and i hope those are the last ones. Now he's gonna make 7-8 Expendables sequels hahahahahahahahahahaha. I saw your post before about Arnold is gonna do a sequel to Twins with Danny Devito and i don't wanna see that if it happens. That movie doesn't need a sequel. I heard he might do another Terminator and i would rather see that. Arnold has done a few wack movies also.

I agree. I think now that Arnold's back, they're going to try to make sequels to all of his popular movies. When I first heard about the Twins sequel I thought it was a joke.
