to see in syndication so you can sample, which 5 would they be???

My 5 would be

2. Chico and the Man

3. One day at a Time

4. Alice

5. Benson

1. Perfect Strangers
2. The Drew Carey Show
3. Maude
4. Newhart
5. Major Dad

I've seen most of these shows in full but it's been a while and I would love to see them in syndication on a cable channel because I don't have access to a regular antenna.

1. The Mary Tyler Moore Show - I sometimes used to watch it on Nick at Nite, but was never an actual fan. This is one show I've always been on the fence about. I own the entire series now, and recently watched a handful of episodes. Great stuff!

2. Blossom - I would love to sample Blossom on The Hub or another nostalgia network. It's been YEARS since it's been in syndication, and the DVD's were dropped after the second season.

3. Gimme A Break! - The later episodes were airing on TV One weekends this past Summer. I watched a few of them. I wish this would be in syndication every day, so I can finally sample the series from beginning to end.

4. Community - The only series on my 'sample list' that I haven't watched a single episode of. My to-watch list is way too long right now, but hopefully I'll be able to sample Community for the first time this Spring, and see what all the rave is. I see the show started in local syndication a few weeks ago. It's still on my list though.

5. Taxi - Another show I've only seen a few episodes of, when I was a kid. I want to sample the whole series, eventually.

Is it considered a forgotten show? I understand it's a '90s time capsule, but so are many other shows rerun into the ground. Just give it a chance. It's not going to be a blockbuster in the ratings. There's been no exposure to that show since the late '90s.

Speaking of the '90s, Step by Step would have been in my top 5 a few months ago. Thank you, The Hub.

So I guess this poll is for shows that either you've never seen and want to finally watch- or just ones that you have had a taste of and would like to see the whole thing if possible?

Hmm- to name 5 shows that I would enjoy seeing if I had the chance:

1. Adventures of Superman (I've seen some of this- mainly just the "Superman and the Mole Men" two part episode that also aired as a movie in theaters- I'd love to see the rest. My local library has the DVD releases though, so maybe I'll go through this series one day.)

2. Street Hawk (Heard lots of good things about it but I've never gotten around to checking it out, though I'd like to- maybe one of these days I can pick up the DVD)

3. Punky Brewster (I have seen a few episodes of this- grew up watching the cartoon based on it- I'd love to check out the whole series sometime- Thankfully, this one is also on DVD.)

4. The Wizard (I've been told this mid-'80s series is similar to MacGyver in some ways- it sounds interesting. I'd love to give it a try if it could ever get a DVD release...)

5. WKRP in Cincinnati (Just so I could finally watch the rest of the series. I've got Season 1 on DVD and I used to watch this some back with TNN aired it. [which is now known as Spike].)

And there are numerous other shows I could name- many are short-lived and some quite forgotten by many- but that list could go on and on for a while.

I think so I haven't seen it much in syndication.

Do you have Antenna TV? They air WKRP Tuesday nights from 9-11. In a few weeks it will be moving to Sundays in the 11PM hour.
