If somebody were to ask, I'd say The Goldbergs boned in the 1955-56 season when the action shifted from Brooklyn to the suburbs--and production from live to film.

I've only seen a few episodes from the 1955-56 season. I think it's a pretty good show. I can't really compare it to the live earlier seasons though.
