Talking For those of you who are interested.....

I just thought for any of you who are interested, I'll post the countries from the Olympics who received medals this year. I'll start from the most to the least.

GERMANY - 35
UNITED STATES - 34
NORWAY - 24
CANADA - 17
AUSTRIA 16
*RUSSIA - 16
ITALY - 12
FRANCE - 11
SWITZERLAND - 11
CHINA - 8
THE NETHERLANDS - 8
FINLAND - 7
SWEDEN - 6
CROATIA - 4
KOREA - 4
BULGARIA - 3
ESTONIA - 3
GREAT BRITAIN - 3

CZECH REPUBLIC - 2

*One gold medal was taken away from Spain and two gold medals were taken away from Russia due to the use of Performance Enhanced Drugs by their athletes.

YAY we got 34!!! OMG... the closing ceremony is like 3 minutes away... I'm going to cry. Seriously. I can't wait another 2 years for Athens... I love the Olympics so much.. excuse me I need tissues.. *sniffle sniffle*

Too bad the U.S. couldn't have tied Germany on the medal count! Oh well, the U.S. still did way better than anyone thought they would.

I have to admit I will miss the Olympics a little too. I got much more into them than I usually do, especially considering they were the winter games. I usually prefer summer. However, I will be glad to be seeing some of my fav TV shows back now.

The russian athlete was actually taking a drug given to people
with chronic kidney failure to help prevent anemia. Personally,
I think it is unfair that the olypmic commitee did not care that
he had a medical problem and was taking medication for it.

Yea, It is Torino, cause thats how they spelled it in the closing ceremonies, but I have a friend from Italy, and that's how she pronounces it. So I guess it can be pronounced either way.
