Replica of The Munsters Home being built in Texas - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I saw a very interesting article in the newspaper this morning. A couple in Waxahachie, Texas (near Dallas) are building their "Dream House", which will be an exact replica of the Munster's home that was seen on the TV series. They even plan to put in a dungeon (which will be accessed through the den), secret passages, and even the staircase which opens up the same way the staircase did in the opening credits of the show. Their pet German Sheppard, who is named - what else? - "Spot", will live there.

The couple, Charles and Sandra McKee, hope to have the house completed, and move in by the fall. According to the article, Sandra McKee collects Munster memorabilia, and is a member of Munster fan clubs.

I don't know if the McKees are aware of this web site, but if so, I'm sure many of us would like to hear about how their plans are coming along.

WoW - I love the Munsters too but, I wouldn't go to such an extreme. If they have that kind of money Why not? I'm happy for them.......... it's great to hear this!
