Default S3 not in Walmart stores in Houston 10-1-13

I went to three Walmart's yesterday and season three is not there yet. I wonder when the stores will actually receive them and have them on the shelves for purchase?

Today it's not even listed on the walmart website.

Did anyone else find season 3 in stores yesterday?

Well, my nearest Wal-Mart (a hundred miles out of Houston) did have the "PJ" and "Hillbillies" dvd-sets. But only two copies of each, which surprised me. I bought one of each. Print quality on both sets is STUNNING.

Went to 2 Walmart stores. One had Season 1/2 combo pack only, no S3. Second one I checked had both the combo and Season 3.

Picture quality is great! Clean & crisp. Watched the 1st four episodes. All but one (2nd episode) clocked in around 25 minutes, 2nd episode about 21-22 minutes. Miss the pre-episode commentaries from Linda Kaye but glad we FINALLY got Season 3! Hopefully the rest isn't too far behind.

When I timed the 2nd episode it was around 25:35. I'm not sure what happened on your set.

I found only 2 copies each yesterday at my local walmart in NY/NJ metro area, does not bode well for a very unique non-advertised release.

Petticoat is a 5 disc set and sold for $19.99, that is a bargain anywhere!

I am shocked by this release, but won't hold my breath for any further releases, I would have bought both copies to help collector friends who can't find it, but as usual after a little shaking, the other copy had broken plastic hubs, so luckily the other one which I purchased was in great shape.

Michael, try the location on 2727 Dunvale Rd (off of Westheimer). I tried there first on Tuesday night after work and found a copy, and there were more on the shelf within the glass case they where they kept them all locked up along with other shows. I can't guarantee they'll still have any left today, but it's worth a try if you still haven't found a copy.

I went to one of my two local Walmart stores on Monday and asked them to check and see if they would be getting any copies. They looked at the list and told me they would be putting 3 copies out at midnight. One clerk was nice enough to offer to put one under the counter for me and would only put it on the shelf if the other 2 sold before I got there. They had sold one shelf copy by the time I got there on Tuesday. I suspect someone else in town was keeping tabs on the PJ release

I'm in the Cleveland area, (no Arial Castro jokes) and I found them both at the first Walmart I went to. Got the last PJ but there were a couple of BHs. That's wierd they only put out a few at a time!

Hey, I wonder if TVSODVD is going to picture the Walmart exclusive release at the top of this board.

Will have to go back and check. Thought one of those 4 episodes timed in shorter. Based on the total time listed on the packaging, was worried there were syndicated episodes included.

Are most from what you've watched all been uncut?

They seem to be uncut but I've only watched the first few episodes.

I am pretty sure the clerk was telling me that they only received 3 copies to put out. I wonder if they will get more or if that was it. As of last night, it could still be obtained off the Walmart site, both ship-to-store and by mail. I read somewhere that there were no longer any available online, but I put one in the "cart" just to see and went as far as getting ready to pay and nothing appeared out of the ordinary to say they were sold out.
