Default About Max and Caroline's Goal of $250,000 for the Planned Cupcake Store

2 Broke Girls revolves around Max Black and Caroline Channing, who are financially poor and are working at a diner in Williamsburg, in Brooklyn, and their efforts to launch a cupcake shop, for which they need $250,000. At the end of each episode, a running tally shows how much of the money made out of the amount needed to open the cupcake shop.

Early in "2BG"'s second season, Sophie lends the girls $20,000, which is enough for Max and Caroline to start their cupcake shop. Once they did, however, the cupcake shop was a failure, and they are forced to give up the lease of their cupcake shop with just enough money to pay off Sophie's loan, resetting the end of episode 2-18's tally to just $1.00.

(Episode 2-18 is the "Not-So-Sweet Charity" episode.)

I'm confused by this post. Are you stating a fact or asking a question?

So, will Max and Caroline get anywhere near that $250,000 goal or will that not be reached until such time as the series nears its end? The highest tally Max and Caroline ever got was $21,328, on episode 2-8 (the "Egg Special" episode), when Sophie lended them $20,000.

Seeing as how the show is called 2 BROKE girls, I don't think they'll ever get enough money until the last season or last few episodes that it's on the air. I think (and hope) the show will last at least 5 seasons, that'll give it plenty of episodes for syndication.
