Another familiar face is returning to "The Good Wife" this season.

Nathan Lane will reprise his role as Clarke Hayden this season, TVGuide.com has learned.

Hayden, who served as Lockhart/Gardner's court-appointed trustee during their bankruptcy, will return to help Cary (Matt Czuchry) as he and Alicia (Julianna Margulies) embark on starting their own firm.

Clarke and Cary became fast friends last season, especially when Cary helped Clarke study for the bar exam when he decided to follow his dreams and become a lawyer. So it only makes sense that Clarke would return the favor.

Lane will appear in Episode 7.

"The Good Wife" premieres on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 9/8c on CBS.
