In conjunction with the September issue of Vice magazine’s Archival Dedication to Bob Guccione, The Guccione Collection announces the release of the never-before-seen raw cut of Bob Guccione’s infamous film, Caligula.

“We are pleased to introduce this previously-unreleased version of Caligula. This version of the film introduces past, present and future fans to a side of Bob’s creative genius that has never been seen before,” said Guccione Collection’s CEO Jeremy Frommer.

“Although Caligula was notoriously controversial in the late 1970s, we feel a part of Bob’s legacy is in this film.”

According to its founders, the Guccione Collection is an ever-evolving testament to the legacy of Bob Guccione. His successes and public downfall prior to his death in 2010 have tended to obscure his innovations in the adult entertainment field.
