Right now the only way to watch this show is to get a copy from ioffer.com or sell.com. If an official version came out I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I've never seen the show before (except for the first episode on tape YEARS ago, when I was a kid) so absolutely! I would love to own this show on DVD.

I've seen the pilot with David White (Larry Tate from Bewitched) as J. Jonah Jameson.

I could never figure out why he never reprised his role in the actual show. He perfectly looked the part.

I'd definitely buy the complete series if released. I'm surprised it hasn't happened by now. Not as successful as The Incredible Hulk, but I think it was good for it's time. It would be fun to see it again.

I agree that David White was great as Jameson and it's too bad he only did the pilot. But I think his replacement, Robert F. Simon, did a good job too. (And his casting even maintained the Bewitched connection since Simon had appeared on Bewitched occasionally.)

man, I loved watching the show as a kid - I couldn't WAIT for next week's episode, I don't know how well it holds up, but I'd love to see it again.

I am patiently waiting for this to officially become available on DVD. I got a copy from ioffer but it was grainy and washed out.

I usual watch it on you tube not the full episodes I enjoy it a lot I hope if the amazing spider-man 2 comes out they might reassess it if it doesn't have many episodes then I hope they would relapsed it in complete series or volumes I also thought the climbing in the tv show was awesome but when spider-man swings with his web you can tell its a rope

I presume you mean the US live action 1970s Spider-Man show (as opposed to the Japanese live action 1970s Spider-Man show- if you want to see that one, just check out Marvel.com- they have all the episodes posted! )
As to the US show- yes, I saw some of this as a kid and I'd love to have the whole series on an official DVD release- I love watching it! Nicholas Hammond made a great Peter Parker/Spider-Man (although it was Fred Waugh in the Spidey suit doing the action stunts majority of the time.)
It was a great show with a great Spider-Man costume and cool special effects. But then, I love these late '70s scifi shows, and particularly live action superhero shows from Marvel and DC Comics.

Speaking of 70s Spiderman incarnations, I also remember the Electric Company skits...

Yep- The Electric Company is classic! I'm definitely a fan of that and Spider-Man's appearances on the show. Also worth nothing- The Blue Beetle showed up in live action on the show! (And interacted with Spidey!) And yes- I mean, the DC Comics character Blue Beetle (though at the time he was still owned by Charlton Comics).

Definitely. Even the live action '70s Japanese Spider-Man TV show came to DVD. (And at least some Spidey skits from The Electric Company when that series got some "Best Of" DVD releases.)
This is the only live action version of Spider-Man still not on DVD. It seems like something perfect for Shout! Factory to release.
