Chief's Gay Evening
I just saw "Chief's Gay Evening" and wow...this is a good ep! The Chief finds out that his stakeout partner, Jerry is gay after he made a joke about a gay and his dog and Carl gets accused of being a bigoted homophobe because of it.
Jerry basically asked Carl "When did you choose to be Polish"? But Carl tells Jerry about this story about his English Teacher Mr. Larnoette and how he was arrested and Carl's uncle Joey may have thought Larnoette may have been a pedophile since uncle Joey wouldn't let Carl go to his funeral. It ends with Jerry taking a bullet and Carl feeling for him. And this was a time when gays were coming-out and feeling confident rather than hide in the closet. |
