Talking Suddenly Susan vs. Veronica's Closet

Which was better? I like both, but "Veronica's Closet" was outstanding and it was my favorite show.

I like Veronicas Closet better. It shouldnt have gotten canceled. I liked SS in the beginning. IT wasnt good at the end, i may have not liked it, but i didnt want it canceled either.

Yeah, both had unfortunate falls in the end. It's all because they were on a terrible night for NBC. But, still, I must go with "Veronica's Closet."

I couldn't stand either one, but if I was forced to choose, I'd say Suddenly Susan.

Oh, how low Kirstie Alley has fallen.

And to think - she was my first crush. Yep. I was 8 and Cheers started in syndication (I wasn't allowed to stay up late enough to watch the first-run episodes yet, so this was my first exposure), hooking me instantly. The Diane episodes came and went, and at the time there was one Rebecca season in syndication.

Like I said, my first crush. Hey, she was cute... back then.

And on the off-chance someone can relay this message to her: "Don't... you... ever... dye... your... hair... blonde... again!"

Well, I still think that she looks very good -- as long as I throw out the image of her long blonde hair. It was not bad when it was blonde and SHORT. But as "Veronica's Closet" inched towards its final ten or so episodes, it was not good because it was too long and did not suit her well. I still love her!

I haven't seen any of the two shows. I guess I need to watch them to figure out which one I like better. I won't be surprised if I didn't like them because today's sitcoms are not as good as the ones from the 50's to early 80's.

I guess in some respects you are correct. But trust me -- "Veronica's Closet" is better. But "Susan" is good, as well! I'm sorry -- I just love "Veronica's Closet" so much.

Yeah, but WGN needs to put "Susan" back on during the afternoon; it's on too late at night! And, as for "Veronica", it's on too early on USA! But at least they're both still airing, so I shouldn't complain!
