Kristen Bell Teases Mystery "Veronica Mars" Cameo; Talks Future of Franchise After Movie

The "Veronica Mars" movie is filled to the brim with stars, from its leading lady Kristen Bell to cameo appearances by Justin Long and Jamie Lee Curtis. But there's one "guest appearance" that made Bell pause.

"I would say, oh God, I don't know," Bell told The Huffington Post in a phone interview when asked about which cameo was her favorite. "You know what? I know who I’d say and I can't say that person because they're not released yet."

While Bell was promoting The Lifeguard, she hinted there are more than a few surprises in store that fans don't know about. So far James Franco, Curtis, Long and Jerry O'Connell are among the list of confirmed stars joining the cast of the "Veronica Mars" movie.

"I would get killed if I revealed names but there’s someone in the beginning of the movie -- and you'll know who I mean -- there’s someone in the first five minutes of the movie who I think is the coolest cameo ever."

Bell said she was floored by the person's involvement. "Our whole set was in a fit, a tizzy, because this person was on set," Bell said.

"There’s a certain niche that this person fills. And listen, there are a fair amount of people who will be unimpressed. But for me, you couldn't get better. If you’re kind of a nerdy brainiac in any sense of the word, you will love this person."

After the film is released in early 2014, the story of Veronica Mars will be carried on in a two-book series. After that? Bell's mentioned the character's adventures could be carried on via other means, such as Netflix. However, nothing is planned yet.

"No steps have been taken to actually figure it out. I think we're going to wait to see how the movie does and wait to go from there," Bell said.

Viewers will have a conclusion following the end of the movie, but Bell said fans will be left wanting more.

"Rob [Thomas] doesn't have the ability to write a real conclusion or an ending," she said.

i am really looking forward to the movie, but i just haven't had time toi check out any news on the insider's site.
