Cool Why did Bill Cosby never make the Huxtable kids as adults in new show

I am a huge huge fan of The Cosby Show i watch it whenever i find the time, its entertaining even tho the show is a bit corny their were a few episodes during the course of the 8 year run where i got to see some pretty realistic and epic episodes, the show has been cancelled since 1992 its been 21 years now why has Bill Cosby never made a sequel spin-off to the original with the Huxtable kids all grown up with jobs and kids ???

Aside from a few programs, most successful shows never had a spin off type of show, even shows far more successful in syndication(re-runs) than The Cosby Show. Also when The Cosby Show went off the air it originally did very poor in syndication.I remember reading stations lost a fortune paying for the rights to air the show. That could have played a part in them not even having a re-union type of show.

That's strange to hear I thought when The Cosby Show began it's syndication run in 1988 it was an immediate hit for stations.

I don't know if it did well in syndication in 1988 when the show was still being made. What I do know is when they stopped making the show it did very poorly in re-runs,and stations yanked it from the air,and it stayed off the air for quite some time.

nope trust me it was it was a HUGE flop it probably would not have been but the syndactor was very greedy and asked for an unrealstic amount from stations and most of the stations just took the gamble and lost big time

Bill Cosby is near death but he still has time to reach his goal and make another good entertaining comedy show like he did in the 80's before his time is up on earth he said in an interview that malcolm jamal warner was his favorite cast member on the cosby show they were good friends in real life, why not just let theo huxtable have his own spin-off show where he is a school teacher in brooklyn, new york teaching college students for a living they should also bring back his best friend whom we the viewers never saw since season 4 dance mania walter aka coachroach he would have married tina and had kids with her and he would be a successful tap dancer now in his early 40's with a jerry curl lol
