I'm staying home. We will head up to our RV in Northern Michigan tomorrow after the crowds leave.

I'd make ALL Employers pay time-and-a-half for employees that have to work on Holidays, and if they are already working overtime, they will have to pay overtime AND a half. It would be for ALL Federal Holidays, including the four "Banker's Holidays" (That's MLK Day, President's Day, Columbus Day and Veteran's Day for those of you in Rio Linda!).

I honored Labor day by laboring.

I work at a grocery store, and we were actually pretty busy. Apparently lots of people came home from camping and realized there was no food in house.

Nothing different than any other day, only we are in the worst heat spell we've had in the 55+ yrs I've lived in So Cal....so have 2 fans going and keeping a wet washcloth going ...

I know the heat is temporary but it's been pretty miserable....I can be certain everyone in So. Cal who can get to the teaches, are there.
