As I said in another thread.

Just about every network has gone downhill, but the ones that stick out to me the most are the following:

USA Network
Game Show Network
Nickelodeon
VH1
MTV
Disney Channel
Cinemax
HBO
Showtime
The Movie Channel

The easier question would be, which one hasn't gone downhill. Most have gone to Reality. I do miss things like the National Geographic shows I once watched along with a lot of others. TLC has totally gone to the dogs and I saw some advertising the other night for new shows that appear to be even worse.
Wow, remember when MTV and the others were actually about music and showed the music video's?

isn't TLC supposed to show educational programmes? we have that channel in the UK and it is very much the same shows you have in the U.S.

At one time TLC stood for The Learning Channel but I'm no longer sure what they want to teach us! I give shows a chance before I express my opinion.
I've been to college, I have a great education and job and nothing I see on that network is worth my time. While watching the shows they air now, I could feel my IQ falling!

I don't consider the 'Gypsy' shows they aired educational. In my opinion they should have been arrested for not sending the girls to school and marrying them off when under age. They even stated numerous times that they move around so they aren't caught for some of these issues. Disgusting!

Extreme Cheapskates is JUST gross!

I pity Honey Boo Boo and the other sisters. They have no clue that most people make fun of them. They have shown them eating boogers, showing their bellies, shaking the flab, how sad. They have got to get harassed at school for the things I've seen. The oldest has had a baby and the other was shown laying in bed with her boyfriend. My mother didn't allow boys in my room, it's asking for trouble! The kids cuss like sailors and so does the Mom. It just breaks my heart.

There are two shows about polygamist.

They air Breaking Amish and to be honest, I'd love to see a show about the Amish lifestyle but the show Breaking Amish is disgusting. I have heard it's mostly fake and that is even worse if TLC supports all that crap by having those kids act all that out.

Toddlers & Tiaras should be banned! Those poor children!

I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant
OH COME ON! REALLY!

My Teen is Pregnant and So Am I. I'm at a loss for words for all this trash on the so called TLC

My Strange Addiction.... *knocking head against wall!*

Welcome to Myrtle Manor......Oh come on!

This is just a few of the shows they air but I think you get my point.

If TLC considers this educational it just proves our society has declined more than we thought and I'm always like WOW that so many approve of this!

I agree about TLC...all you learn now is how NOT to be like these 15-minute celebrities!

What next..."I Didn't Know I Had To Take A Dump"?
