The last episode was a remake and there was originally going to be more seasons.
An episode with no magic involved at all, not even any of Samantha's family or Esmeralda. In Sabrina they have a jar to put their magic in if they don't want to use it. What if Samantha put all of her spells into the jar, then Tabitha and Adam. Endora is furious and Samantha, Darren, Tabitha and Adam have to travel far away or maybe Endora gets arrested. "McMann, Tate and Stephens" Samantha is put under a love potion but in the end of the episode remembers Darren. |

Something with an announcer saying "...and they lived happily ever after"
since the first ep I recall had someone saying "Once upon a time...." & bringing back the Kravitz or Darrin's parents. (both sets no-shows in season 8). |

Had it been feasible, Jose Ferrer should have brought in to do that last line, as he was the one who spoke the original "Once Upon a Time" in 1964.
It would have taken a lot of witchcraft to pull it off, but I'd like to think Maurice and Endora could have reconciled when they both come to the realization that if Sam and Darrin could make a marriage like theirs work, maybe, just maybe, they could do the same...so they don't have to bug their daughter and son-in-law anymore. Of course, Dr. Bombay would have to mix up another potion that gets dumped into a batch of clam dip! Not to mention Serena would have to do something "wild and weird and creepy" to derail this plan, aided and abetted by Uncle Arthur (anyone for a barrel of monkeys or a boxing glove ("maybe later I'll explain how much fun THAT was," as Larry Tate once said!).Or, even better, Uncle Arthur and Aretha--the witch who was almost "the next Mrs. Uncle Arthur"--reconcile, get married and prove a greater challenge to the world of witches and warlocks than Sam and Darrin would ever be!
