TV Kimberly McCullough Returning to "General Hospital"

Kimberly McCullough Returning to "General Hospital" — But for How Long?
by Matt Webb Mitovich
8/22/13

As anticipated by Jason Thompson in a recent TVLine interview, Kimberly McCullough will reprise her role as "General Hospital‘s" Robin, sometime this fall.

Robin is such an important part of the history of General Hospital,” show boss Frank Valentini told Soap Opera Digest, which broke the news. “It will be so wonderful to see her come back and what that effect will have on the canvas.

And an effect she will have. Digest notes that McCullough isn’t back for a cup of coffee but is in fact back on contract — paving the way for all kinds of storyline repercussions.

Especially since various characters are searching for Jerry Jacks, who — unbeknownst to anyone — is holding the presumed-dead Robin captive. Plus, there’s the whole pregnant Britt sitch to sort out.

Weighing in on his leading lady’s possible return, Thompson told us earlier this month, “Selfishly, I hope it happens. I love working with Kimberly, We had a great relationship for six, seven years, and it’d be fun to do another story.

Glad to hear Kimberly is returning to GH. She grew up before our very eyes on the show and is a great actress!

"General Hospital's" Robin to Return This Summer
by Matt Webb Mitovich
June 23, 2014

Well, that didn’t take very long.

Barely four months after (again) bidding ABC’s "General Hospital" adieu, soap vet Kimberly McCullough is set to reprise her role as Robin sometime this summer.

Soaps In Depth reports that McCullough's return is "short term."

She should stay gone, I'm tired of her returns and exits. Robin and Patrick need to divorce and move on already, the storyline sucks. Anyone who chooses a friend over a spouse is not right in the head.

I love Robin. But, the writers have turned her into a horrible person. That's one thing I hate about Carlivati (well, one of the many) He really screws up legacy characters for newbies (*cough* Sabrina *cough*)

Yes, and no, it's Kimberly's decision to keep leaving. What are they suppose to do with her character?? This is why Julian Fellows kills off his characters when they want out of the show, Downton Abbey.
