Love both.

Halloween because I'm a big fan of horror, and I love Autumn.

Christmas because it's one of the times when family that is spread out all over the country gets together.

Halloween isn't my holiday, when I was a child I couldn't eat any of the candy that they gave me and when I got older I didn't go Trick-or-Treating. I'll go to a Costume Party then and that's it, but when I found out that Halloween was a fearful moment in Ancient England...I'm glad I didn't live there back then. I myself celebrate Reformation Day...the day when Martin Luther nailed the 95 Thesis to the door so that when the Germans went to All Saint's Eve (All Hallows Eve) Mass...the people would read them as well.

I like them both, but I tend to prefer Halloween. There always seems to be too much pressure for Xmas and it gets too expensive. Nothing kicks off the January blahs faster than getting your credit card bills in the mail.

Halloween is great! Some years I go all out, decorate, have a party--other years it's just fun to kick back and hand out candy.

I LOVE Christmas!
But of course- that holiday is only such an important day to me because of its conclusion in another holiday- Easter!
I love celebrating Christmas and Easter every day- because I celebrate Jesus Christ every day! God sent us Love at Christmas when He sent Jesus to come and be the Savior of the world! And Jesus came with a singular purpose- to go to the cross and die so that He could pay for all the sins of the world. And He rose again on the third day and because He lives, we can live also! He has made salvation free to all who call upon the name of The Lord and put their faith in Him, confessing that Jesus is Lord and believing that God raised Him from the dead.
So yes- those are my two favorite holidays- and both are truly holy days when the Holy of Holies came to Earth so that He might make us holy- yet it's all through Him. (Leviticus 11:45 and Matthew 5:48 are fulfilled in 1 Corinthians 1:30 and Philippians 3:8-14) Praise God for Jesus and His Love! Praise Father, Son and Spirit- Amen.

Halloween!

I like Christmas a lot, but it's more stressful than Halloween.

And what else is someone with a year-'round Halloween room going to choose?

Christmas but 4th of July is a close 2nd. Grandville always has a huge parade and there's great caft fair. Although this year the Gyro truck wasn't there. I was bummed, that's one of the things I look forward to.
